Directions to Lodge

Take the A84 from Stirling and follow the road for 5 miles past Blair Drummond Safary Park. Take a left to follow the A873 to Thornhill. Continue on the road past the Lake of Monteith, until you reach Aberfoyle. From Aberfoyle, take the B829 through Kinlochard. Follow the road for approximately 10 miles until you reach a T-junction. Turn right. Approximately half a mile down the hill, you will find Stronachlachar Lodge on the left side just before the pier.
Stirling is the nearest railway station.
Glasgow Airport is approx 1 hour away.

Regional Area

One of the most scenic areas in Scotland, the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park are a great place for a short break or a longer stay as there is so much to see and do.
Stronachlachar is located within the park and is very close to the following major cities:
Stirling – 35 miles (1 hr); Perth – 62 miles (1 hr 34 mins); Glasgow – 41 miles (1 hr 18mins); Edinburgh – 70 miles (1 hr 48mins);

Local Area

Stronachlachar (A Above) is very close to the North end of Loch Lomond (Inversnaid – B Above), which is only 6 miles or 15 minutes away. From here you will find a number of ferry services running daily on Loch Lomond throughout the Summer months.

There is also the Inversnaid Hotel which offers a wide selection of food and beverages.
